Topic: Ft Myers Show

To Joe and the Band:

Thanks for putting Southwest Florida on your tour.  Florida is a big state and we in the Southwest don't always get cutting edge entertainment but I hope our enthusiasm at your final show of the year demonstrated our love for your brand of hard driving blues. 

My wife and I were like kids waiting for the day of the show.  We played JB tunes at the house for a month straight.   I wanted to hear some acoustic and you didn't dissapoint.  My wife got her dose of "The Ballad of John Henry" and I got my shivers for "Happier Times".

Any way the show was a blast.  Of course two hours of your incredible music felt like 15 minutes so we rocked on at the Little Bar in Goodland listening to our favorite hometown boys The Raiford Starke Band.

Don't forget us next year.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Saturday in Ft Myers was so good!

I've seen a couple of sets a few years ago but this was really excellent in a great little venue. I was so impressed with Sloe Gin played live. I'm originally from the UK and I hear Joe getting play time on the Bob Harris radio show there (I listen in over the net every weekend). I still can't figure out why the US seems so illusive to completely conquer - what's up with that? Europe and the rest of the world loves ya Joe!

I had to fly down from Salt Lake City to catch this concert but I was determined to see you in 2010. It was so worth the trip!!
