I went to the Mugg's website and listened to the 3 mp3's they have on there. They sure have the 70's Blues-Rock thing going on. Thanks for the heads-up. Never could get into the Stripes though. I do need some Rory though, and more Pie...only have Smokin. Thanks

I'm with ya - except Leeds. Great album (was Ox's favorite recording) but the production/sound lacks.
Supertramp's stuff plays VERY well on the system. I need more Trower, had that on vinyl but never on CD.

I love " War", them and "Santana" were two bands that crossed all ethinic groups in the neighborhood I grew up in.

Dont know if your into "RUSH", but if you can handle Geddy Lee ( either people love or hate him ). Anyways they put out a really cool cover album a few years ago, it's called "Feedback", they absolutely kill it. I wish I had the cover of the album on a shirt, take a look.

Blues Deluxe does have a decent crank-ability factor! You know I haven't tried Live Bullet yet but should. The Doors always had great production, ahead of their time in that department too! Thanks

Stu,I would say check out return to forever Romantic warrior one of if not the best jazz rock fusion albums of all time super group of al dimeola, stanley clarke, chick corea ,lenny white ,if you like great music and musicans this ain't your daddys jazz.As for guitar players, early 70's Al Dimeola was the most exciting guitar player since hendrix but totally different style.his solo album elegant gypsy will blow your mind.

I second that. I was listening to a Jazz Fusion show they have here on late Sat. and they were playing this one song. I said to myself, they better say who this is. Luckily they did. It was Return to Forever. The song was The Magician. Fantastic.

Thanks guys. I will look into that one. I didn't know Al di Meloa was part of that combo (or Clarke or Corea for that matter). I do remember the Elegant Gypsy LP from the 70's...that was an amazing album. Thanks again.

I'm partial to "Casino" myself. The song "Fantasia suite for two guitars" is some of the best guitar work around. Just for informational purposes, if you read the liner notes for Joe's HTCT, Joe mentions Al Dimeola in reference to Faux Mantini (i don't remember Joe's exact quote, but there's a definite Dimeola style to that song).
