Topic: Hello from the Heart of Dixie

That would be Alabama.  We moved here from Phoenix AZ two years ago and I was STOKED to learn that Joe was coming to Huntsville.  I saw him first in PHX at Celebrity Theater 5 or 6 years ago opening for The Tragically Hip (I think).  He stole the show that night and I cannot wait to see him again in my new hometown!  (You have to understand that Huntsville gets almost NO non-country headliners - this is a special treat!)

I'm sure I'll be pulling my guitars out of storage after the show.  And I may get to catch him again in FL in a couple of weeks.  Anyway, Damn Glad to Be Here on the Forum as the newest member, for a few minutes anyway...

I would love to be able to finger-pick well enough to play the banjo! ; )  But I have rafted down the river that was reported location for the movie "Deliverance" and the actual river the movie was filmed on.  So "dualing banjos" has been hummed many times on those trips...

bbbtut, Hello! I ran into quite a few Alabama people here in Nashville (visiting), including someone from Huntsville area who may be doubling up and see Joe again there. Since you mentioned 5 or 6 years ago, I can honestly say without reservations you are in for a special treat indeed.  Gonna Rock the Rocket Town!
