Re: Wow, what a blast this event with Frank Marino is gonna be!!!

It has been a while since I have been at this forum, and its good to be back.

This is unbelievable, an all day Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush show? Are you kidding me? I mean I know that Frank is known for putting on long shows but 3 sets? And if I understand this correctly 3 full sets?

I have never even heard of one artist playing for this long on one day, noon to midnight? I honestly can't believe what I just read.

The "soundcheck" alone looks like it would be worth me getting to Cleveland.

Oh, and by the way I also just got my tickets to see Joe in Aurora , IL in March of 2011. Lots to look forward to.

Jeff we should drive up...can you make it???

And so castles made of sand melts into the sea, eventually.........

Re: Wow, what a blast this event with Frank Marino is gonna be!!!

Unfortunately I have 3 Christmas partys this weekend to cater.  Might seem like a lame excuse for a once in a lifetime event but paying the bills has to come first.   I will be watching for your review Mike.

Take care everyone. And if I don't meet you no more in this world
Then ill, I'll meet you in the next one and don't be late, don't be late

Re: Wow, what a blast this event with Frank Marino is gonna be!!!

Not a lame excuse but a totally understandable one sir, you will of course have the DVD and various Youtubes to console yourself with!!!

You Can Do Anything You Want To Do

Re: Wow, what a blast this event with Frank Marino is gonna be!!!

Just home from Cleveland. Between 2:30 and 1 am yesterday, Frank Marino played for 7.5-8 hours covering between 40 and fifty songs from his repertoire with a few Hendrix covers thrown in for good measure. At 56 Frank is a beast, playing better than ever with a tone of the gods..... Lifetime memories were made....
