I hadn't heard that Roger, but I had heard he's playing the Beaverwood at Chislehurst on Tuesday, 7th December. Fancy that one too?

I received a little package in the post yesterday from Germany. Not had chance to listen to all of it yet, but sounding good. If you're a fan of extended live versions, this album is for you... 

That's a shame - I was looking forward to catching up with you Duncan. We'll fly the flag for you don't worry

Sorry to say both Fleetwood Bac at Boom Boom Club and Henrik Freischlader band show at Zoom @ The Moon SE24 have been cancelled due to the bad weather.
Hope to reschedule both as soon as possible, really sorry to disappoint.

Bought the new live CD on a gig 26 November 2010 combined with a CD release party and a DVD recording.
This gig was the best of 3 Henrik Freischlader gigs I've seen this year. So cross your fingers that the recording of the DVD was successful.
They played with a new drummer and that guy called Björn Krüger is the cherry on the cake. Perfect addition.
Due to the DVD recording no cameras were allowed, so you’ll find nothing about the gig at youtube.

Now, I’ll tell you something about the new CD.
My impression when I heard the CD first time at home was a slight disappointment.
How's that??? The gig that I heard the evening before was that great and so absolutely mindblowing, that the first listen gave me that kind of feeling.
Actually, it’s a wonderful CD.  You should bring some time with you to listen about 120 minutes of excellent guitar playing with some long guitar solos as well as a drum and organ solo.
The songs from the double CD were recorded during the 2010 tour in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Band members that time were: Henrik Freischlader (guitar, vocals), Theofilos Fotiadis (bass, backing vocals), Hardy Fischötter (drums), Moritz Fuhrhop (organ).
Unfortunately the booklet doesn’t inform from which gig the songs on CD are. Would have been nice to know. So maybe one of the songs is from a gig that I attended, maybe not.

Friday 20 and Saturday 21 it's time for Henrik's fans to travel to Arnsberg once again.
My ticket for Saturday arrived with a number of nice stickers ...
