Sure is. Looks like Glasgow for me. I would normally go to a few but too much gigs going on sale now though plus I have Joe's Paris gig to fund.

No European dates?

Shame if not. He'd be surprised just how big a draw he still is here.

It's Glasgow for me. Already booked tickets through Planet Rock's pre-sale. Tickets are, more or less, £40 including booking fee

I got front cirle row E, what about you?

Re: Paul Rodgers UK Tour 2011

I almost bought two tickets for Bournemouth yesterday in the Planet Rock pre sale, but held back because the tickets on offer were not that good.

Phoned the venue today as their pre sale started at 9.00am and got two tickets in row C of the stalls.  smile

From Joes Twitter page

If I was asked to give it all up to play with any band. Answer : Free. Or Paul Rodgers. It's the music that is my soul. 11:10 PM Nov 13th via Twitter for iPad

Joe,

I'd love to see you with Paul on his UK tour next April. I notice that you have no dates booked yet for next April.

Now, how does it go, click your heels Three times and make a wish. I can but hope  smile

Just a heads up for any Paul Rodgers fans who may be interested in ordering a piece of guitar string jewelry; Rodgers has committed strings to the StringsforaCURE Foundation.

From Classic Rock Magazine:

Pau Rodgers Announces Touring Band
Paul Rodgers will be joined by drummer Jaosn Bonham on his upcoming UK tour.

Also in the band are guitarist Howard Leese and bassist Lynn Sorenson. There will also be some surprise guests. One of these guests (obviously not a surprise anymore!) is Joe Perry, who’ll join the celebrated singer in London.

Rodgers intends the set to span his career, and will include a batch of Free songs.

Also Joe Elliot's Down N Outz are opening for him. Great band with covers of Mott related material (One of my favorite cd's right now).

When I was a child I spoke as a child, But all I heard was how I should get ahead,
Now growing up it ain't anything but all This indecision with these debts and doubts
And worries hanging over my head. When I was a child I spoke as a child,
I wish I could remember what I said.

Re: Paul Rodgers UK Tour 2011

StringsforaCURE just received Paul Rodgers guitar strings, which led me to clicking on his photo on the Strings homepage.

I was thrilled to see a US tour is posted on Paul's site.  It looks like I'm in luck, he is coming to Atlantic City in July. I was browsing over the site and noticed John Bonham's mother recently passed, Jason's grandmother.  If I knew, I forgot that John Bonham's full name was John Henry Jr., named after his dad.

I hadn't read the Rev's post recently so I didn't know about Jason being Paul Rodgers drummer, very cool.  I'm thinking its just a matter of time before Joe and Rodgers collaborate on something...  smile

I was thinking of purchasing the Live in Glasgow DVD, does anyone have an opinion on it?

Angela - I can highly recommend it but then I'm biased  smile I was at the actual gig and he played a blinder. In keeping with his UK tours, the show leans more towards Free songs (my favourite band).

Re: Paul Rodgers UK Tour 2011

Thanks Kenny, jumping over to Amazon to order.  smile How cool, you were there.

After all these years, I just found out a few months ago that my cousin Elisa, who runs the StringsforaCURE Foundation, was in George Harrison's Bangladesh video a couple of times.  She won really good seats on a Philly radio show and then was able to move up within the front rows...she actually wondered if she could have been in seats reserved for McCartney, because he was a no show.
