that's what I read into too
"if" he does sell em, would be nice if forum members got first shot
or auction em off
it's really cool to like watch a DVD, and actually be playing the
actual guitar on the DVDTrust me...I own this Richie Sambora guitar, and it is the same
one on the Crush DVD...it is coolsome pics below
Read again, because he did actually sell some this past weekend. I don't blame him a bit for selling some (or all) of them. I can also understand why he would want to do it without trying to market them and have to answer questions about "why this" or "why that", and "since I'm a board member can you give me a special deal?" or whatever might come up.
If the mere mention of selling some guitars brings this kind of scrutiny, can you imagine what it would be like if he announced it, published a catalog and set prices? The world would go upside down with a hundred second guessers coming out of the woodwork to critique every guitar, to argue about every story and give examples of them being too cheap or too high. All the while the man might be just trying to thin the herd a little.
I'm with jim m on this one as well. Goldie hasn't sold yet, and I hope Joe decides to keep it - or maybe even let his Dad keep it for him. He plays so many different guitars that there are only a couple that are closely associated with Joe and that is one of them, IMO.
Keep it Joe, or give it to Len.
