Topic: Vicar Street Review
Wonderful review of the Vicar Street show, although I was a bit put off by the comment at the end (not a topic I'd pick to get a chuckle or two).

Well there's no doubt Joe has a new legion of fans in Dublin although I thought the reviewer's last comment was in poor taste and unnecessary.
Yeah enjoyed the gig, thought it was a good review too, though I'm not as sure you guys need to take that comment in bad taste.
The Miners situation is something which appears to be resolving without large bad news bar them being stuck and maybe a little ill from the 2 months in darkness and he just tried to use a topical event to compare joe's amazing talent.
If the Miners thing had deaths and the like maybe it would be bad taste but I think he just meant it as a bit of fun playing on an unfortunate event. I wouldn't get too offended by it guys.
Fair play to the commenter who completed the setlist too

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. Making a joke out of that situation before it was resolved was (IMO) in poor taste. I noticed this is your first post...are you the reviewer?

Like wise Bill No need to use the F word!
Well it was just a whimsical analogy. No offense taken by me. I guess it could be blamed on excitement and silly dumb bad taste. But the point I take aside from trying to make or tack headlines out of or onto his review is if only everyone was as good at what they attempt...I guess you could also blame it on American Beer, and not knowing what words to describe the greatness,...and he did earlier state:
I think it’s a good rule of thumb to use in all forms of writing that when you have no words to describe how good something is that you should always, always use some form of hilarious pun, so here it goes…
I DO differ with his accusations of arrogance pffffftttt, and moreso on his belief of it lacking professionalism to not be chatty and chummy between songs. Joe is all about business, and the business is entertainment and he's not on a TV interview or talk show, he is putting on a musical extravaganza. The fact he works up a sweat cues he's not about relaxing until he's expended it all for his audience, all this is my opinion and I could care about chattiness. David Lindley, yeah I want to hear him chatty, a different story...BB King, tell the stories...If you are good at it, do whatever it is, just my opinion(s).
