An Evening with Joe

The Balboa Theater http://www.sandiegotheatres.org/  is an historic venue dating from the age of silent movies and vaudeville that has been recently restored. The link has information on all you need to know about parking, access, etc.
Located in San Diego's center city, there is ample (fee) parking and entertainment close by. At the moment, a Tapas bar is the targeted watering and noshing spot, (no host) which offers discounted tab for ticket holders. http://lagrantapa.com/home.html

I believe so. I'll check it out. Even do a pre-walk for timing.
It will def. be a restaurant type place because there are minors attending. Family friendly!

Definitely an easy, easy walk. About 3 blocks, about 5 minutes, slow, chatty, looking about, and tipsy, 10 at most.

Yes that Forever Young guy! But of course I am a Joe fan as well. I'm no yuppie though!!

lol The yuppie clause was referring to the restaurant, which is a business district hangout. One local couple has a spare set of tix, I'll tell them to hold out for the grand.  roll

Cool. a friend has a spare pair of tickets in Orchestra right side about row 10 or so if you need some. Vegas will be after the Socal shows if at all. He usually heads east after down here. More likely Arizona though.
