I've had good tix for the upcoming Heart show for a couple months now. Was really looking forward to it.
Just learned that Joanne Shaw Taylor will be here on the same day at a small blues club in Central Washington.
Needless to say, the Heart tix are now on Craigslist. 
Wish I could go with you Stu and I sure wish Joanne would come to the Midwest for a couple of shows!

Stu you will NOT be disappointed Joanne is AWESOME!!! she is in Michigan many times per year bluesman............many times at Callahans in Auburn Hills.......if you care to make the trek.........i saw her there in February and again in April AND she was there between those times and did a show with Eric Sardinas.

Fine... but that don't make them sound good. I just call it how I see it.
Yeah, I saw the same show, but hey rockers still gotta pay bills like the rest of us, so Heart like many others keep trudging along. A buddy here plays lead guitar for Huey Lewis and also owns the only laundromat in town with his sister, Stef refers to it as his Rock n Roll 401K.

Joanne's in San Francisco tonight @ Biscuits & Blues, 2 shows @ 8 & 10 PM. Game time decision whether I'm goin', didn't know the baseball pennant race would be at such a fever pitch in the Bay Area.

I'd go for the music J Dawg, there's lots of BB to go. JST is a rare event out here. Or, go for the late show and catch the game at a nearby sports bar.

Got to stand up for my Wilson sister's. I saw them a few weeks ago. I did not see the Palladia show but other than the 4 new songs which were 2 too many the show rocked. Ann's voice cracked a time or two but they never disappoint as I have seen them on average at least once a year since 76. That being said Joanne is one of my new favorite chick guitar players so Stu go have a good time and Tell Jo hi from middle earth.

Going to see if the finances will allow us to see JST in Sheffield in november, I think it is.
Really like the White Sugar CD and would love to see her live.
I have the same problem. She's coming to Florida in December the same time Joe is here and she's playing the same nights as Joe in different locations so I'm gonna miss seeing her.
