The Belgian GP at Spar this weekend

One of my favourite circuits. It's one of the longer ones and it usually rains. Exciting prospect of having the top 5 drivers so close to one another with only 7 races left. My bet is on Alonso for this weekend's winner.

No offence.....Good mix up of grid,the early rain shook it up a bit,but cream should rise,expect vettel and alonso to do well,would like jenson to get a podium though.

Great race. Didn't bode well in the beginning with no position change at the start but street circuits always sort the men from the boys.
Hard luck for Hamilton. Sniffed a chance and went for it, a real racer's instinct but unfortunately Mark Webber is not someone to try and hang out to dry. The pass wasn't fully nailed and he had to give Mark room. He didn't and he paid for it. Racing incident for me. Twice in the last 2 races he's tried to muscle it and twice he's come unstuck.
Thought Jenson would get Mark, but Webber is a man on a mission and even on 50+ lap old tyres he was not to be denied a podium.
Vettel gave it his best shot but Fernando made no mistakes I could see.
What is Schumi up to though? I know the car isn't to his liking but did he have a hand in Kobayashi's accident? and was he responsible for offing Nick Heidfeld?I'm a fan but heit looked dodgy. Just saw Schumi interview though. "Racing incident", says he. Well it was an incident that happened in the race so that much is true.
Great to see Timo Glock running so well early on the Virgin and Kubica was a monster once he got those new tyres, he fair bullied his way through the lower order late on. Great stuff.
It's going to go the distance for sure. Button is probably out of it really. Webber is the man for me. I hope he can show a clean pair of heels in Japan. I really don't want the Spanish sulk to win it, especially with the sour taste of manipulating results to go with it. That said, Ferrari's tactics have put their man back in the hunt.
Scrap the rule. Team orders are fully in order and always have been. Drivers and casual fans may not like it but that is the way it is and should stay. F1 is a business, then a sport.
Yes! A real race with consequences for the overzealous. Very similar to the street courses here in the US. A tunnel of concrete walls with no margin for error. Any slight miscalculation and it is over. No forgiving gravel traps. I agree about team orders. Too much money at stake to risk losing points for the ultimate goal. Congratulations to the podium. They earned it. Schumi? too bad he's stuck in a second rate car but he always was aggressive and tough to pass in the past when he was winning. Nothing different now that he's back in the field.

Goodness me that looks like Alonso ... but it can't be coz that guy on the podium looks so happy.
Anyways, well done Ferrari a good 1 and 3 this weekend. Poor old Webber span off in the wet conditions after driving over a slippery kerb but it was Vettel you had to feel sorry for with a blown engine 4 laps from the end. I'd got my coat on ready to go out but had to stay in the end.
What a championship this is turning out to be!
Yes, got up early to catch the german coverage (which I find way superior to the BBC - loads more interviews with leading lights).
Was a bit of a drag early on, but the conditions made it so. Felt sorry for the Koreans. So much effort to get it right (just) and then this. Anyway they did get a race and as always the conditions threw up some drama.
Very sorry for Webber, who I would like to take the title, but at least one of his rivals didn't score. At the same time, very bad luck for Vettel with the engine problem. An innocent victim of Webbers mistake was Rosberg who looked like he could have upset the order today.
Good for Hamilton to keep it on the island and pick up points. Alonso has done all this before. He kept the pressure up all the time as much as he dared and he was there when it mattered. Who would have thought before Monza he could be leading the championship now. He'll be a hard man to beat and even his teammate will be helping him now.
Shame for Button whose decision for the intermediates early went all wrong, but you win some lose some.
Twit of the day award has to go to Sutil who was determined to continue having moments and near misses until he finally got it right and stuffed it. If he had just done what his teamate Luizzi did and kept his nose clean and judgement cleaner he could have bagged some good points when so many others fell off.
Full marks to Petrov too. Here's a guy who really knows now to write off a car. Dear oh dear!
Sad that Vettel's luck ran out. That could have been a very thrilling finish. Poor race management and adventurous driving in difficult conditions led to the demise of the contenders. Commentary in the junior open wheel classes leads to the conclusion that the antics on track of the F1 heroes has led to some overly aggressive tactics by the kids trying to emulate the top drivers. Broken machinery and drivers has been the result and there may be more changes in the lower class rules to dampen the adventurous tactics. The big boys are not setting a good example.

So, down to the wire on the driver front. Red Bull deserved winners of the Constructors title. The best car should surely earn the company the prize. Mateschitz must be a happy man tonight. It has cost him a lot of money, and although the team is well funded it is a fraction of the spend of Ferrari and McLaren.
Effectively Red Bull are an independant team that has come from nowhere in 6 years to sit atop the pile. Full credit to Christian Horner and the people that have made it happen - especially Adrian Newey.
As to the driver's championship, we get what we want which is the decision on the final day. It is a BIG risk now for Red Bull as both Vettel and Webber will be 'no holds barred' and Alonso could well profit.
What odd's Webber sticking it on pole and Vettel gunning down the inside on the last lap and binning them both thus gifting Alonso a 3rd title. It could happen. I'm hoping that it comes good for Webber personally but it will be hard to call. After all, who would've thought Hulkenburg would stick it on the pole?
Yesterday’s race couldn’t have worked out better for Bernie and his billion pound circus. Now we wait for Abu Dhabi, the last round in this year’s championship. What a thrilling prospect it’s going to be!
As much as I’m an out and out Ferrari fan (I may not always have empathy with their choice of driver mind you) I would love to see one of the Red Bull guys win the championship title. As Hansamike says, Red Bull is a team which has only been in formation for a few years and now they’re top of the pile. Just goes to show that there’s hope for Virgin Racing or Hispania Racing yet 
My hope is that Webber can steal the title and that it’s a clean and tidy race. It’s been a few years since an Aussie driver was world champion and I’m not being rude here but Webber is a bit older than some of the other drivers so he may not get much longer at the top of his game. I think he’ll do it. He comes across as a more mature driver than Vettel who can be a little impetuous. Heck I’m already relishing the prospect of the one, two and three positions on the grid being Webber, Vettel, Alonso …..
