Topic: Where to put the Tremolo?

Does anyone know where Joe puts his SUPA TREM in his effect chain?

When I saw him back in April (Keswick Theater) he took the stage at 8PM sharp to the opening sounds of JOHN HENRY and the Trem was VERY prominent.  Other times it's more subtle.  I prefer the more subtle approach.  My guess is that he had 1 head on (with tremolo) and kicked in the Jubilee when the rest of the song started.  Assuming he ONLY runs Delay through the Marshall.. I'm debating where to place mine, right now it's in transit with the US Postal Sevice. Thanks -Seth

The last I remember he had the SupaTrem up front actually, before the Lehle ABC.  So basically the tremolo hits all of the amps when it's on (which is most of the time).  I always run my tremolo up front before all the overdrives too.  If you run it after an overdrive I find that you lose a little bit of the effect, though that may be desirable.  I'd personally fiddle with it for your particular rig until you are happy with it.  cool

'67 and '74 Fender Twin Reverbs, '74 Marshall 1987 lead mkII, Metro Superlead 100. Pedals from TC Electronic, Ibanez, Dunlop, BK Butler, Electro-Harmonix, Fulltone, Maestro/Gibson, Loopmaster switching, VoodooLab, Boss. Gibson and Fender guitars, Dimarzio pickups.

Thank you.  I was thinking of putting it upfront and adjusting the mix knob to get it where I need it.  I have used the TREM effect on my Line 6 M9 but it just doesn't have quite the sound I'm looking for, so I went with the real deal ..Fulltone.
