Billy Sheehan. Oh yeah....Steve Vai as well.

This is exactly why I so wanted to see Joe Bonamassa with Eric and Kenny so desperately on the Satriani's G3 tour when Joe Bonamassa was up and coming.  I know Stu Hamm already left, but if he would have come back on that tour it would have just been Insane.  I knew what an appreciative and musically insightful audience Joe, Eric and Kenny would have had. And that particular audience that goes to G3 concerts would have gotten Joe, Eric and Kenny right then and there.  Just like I knew what I was seeing at the time, they would have also known.  They would have known Eric Czar was an elite bassist and would have eaten it up if Eric and Billy got to play together.

I have talked to Eric many times Cat and I don't recall him ever talking about music and inspiration  approach or in particular his art which is pretty cool.

He is strongly opinionated on a variety of subjects but as far as music goes he really just plays and lets his finger do the talking.

LMAO

Eric is a great bass player and a very cool artist, just never ever disagree with him or you'll be banned into oblivion.

It's no wonder JB left him behind.....very different personalities.

You too?

That's fine.  All Eric ever was, was wonderful to me and my husband after every show.  He always thanked us for being there.  And let some fans hold his bass who were bass players.
They loved him.  He always talked to me and husband and was sincere.  I had better talks with him than with Joe.

He may be very opinionated, but that doesn't change what he did for Joe's music or the music he now plays.  I'm a rocker. That doesn't phase me at all.  Rock has a lot of different personalities.
