Johnny A: One November Night CD

Since I first heard Johnny on NPR back in the nineties I've always hungered for a live album and ONN was worth the wait.  There's only a handful of guitarists that can match his virtuosity and tone.  All the songs are of of the jaw-dropping variety, but it's the shredfest, "Jimi Jam", that alone's worth the price of admission.  It doesn't hurt either the rhythm section backing him is tighter than a burmese python.  Five rock solid stars from this listener.
