I know there are a lot of Derek Trucks fans on this forum, so just to let you know Derek's new live album is available from the DTB website.  Seems contests are the new thing - you could win an autographed slide (no, not a guitar).  Also get a free digital download of one song instantly.  Sounds good.

I´m so looking forward to hearing this ... as they´re not touring this year, the live CD is gonna be the next best thing. Do we know which songs they chose? And is it one CD or two?

On a side note, Eva, I was telling my brother (who I think you met at Cathy's last August) about your missing the Mule in Germany by being over here - he feels your pain!

Thanks a lot for the info Sandy, that sounds like an awesome set list ... Anyday as an encore, yeah!!  smile
I´m sure I can pick a copy up when I´m in America, or even while I´m still home. My dad just said that you can order a copy off Amazon and that they´re available June 8th here already. I don´t know wether or not that´s right, but we´ll see.

And thanks for your brother´s sympathies about the Mule show - it IS  a sacrifice. wink Oh, and did I tell you that they also play a show in New York like 5 days before I arrive there?? I get the feeling that Warren is running from me!  But I´m sure that seeing the Allmans with Warren AND Derek at Crossroads is gonna make up for it.  Plus, we get to meet a good part of the old HAB crew again as well ... smile

Got a bit of a surprise today - since I was "one of the first" to order the CD I am getting an autographed by Derek copy!  How cool is that!  Now if only one of those slides finds it way into the box...

I ordered the package deal a couple days ago, needless to say I'm STOKED. Crossing my fingers on that autographed slide, as I broke my beloved custom slide a couple weeks ago...

this album is very nice.  plus it adds to my "who knows" collection, which I now have being performed by six artists...I really thought it was more.  I can't get enough of who knows, probably my all time favorite riff to hear people improvise on
