Topic: Oslo, Norway, Rockefeller 25th of May 2010

What can you say?

Yet another brilliant show from Joe. This guy rules the stage, secure, modest with perfection at the fingertips. I certainly take some time to let such impression sink in, but this was just overwhelming.
Sound was great and at a perfect level for this venue. The set list was the same as the Stockholm show.

Highlights:
- Sloe Gin: Must be the best version I've ever heard.
- Blues Deluxe: Just perfect
- Woke Up Dreaming: Wow!! - Can’t really find words

The band played just great, the beat of Boogies drums was like clockwork. I can only speak for myself, but all in all one of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen. To quote a friend: “If he hadn’t been changing guitars, you would believe that the sound comes directly from his body!”

I’m actually glad he didn’t play Asking Around for You, then tears had been floating.

I was there too and agree 100%. A great, great show!
Some 4 years ago we were 350 in the audience. Things have certainly changed for Joe.
Management apparently messed up the interview deal, but concert review and pics coming up in norwegian magasine "Fidelity"  cool

I’ve only seen Joe twice, this show and one of the shows he did at Notodden Blues Festival last year. I can assure you it won’t be the last!  smile I’ve of cause watched all his videos and YouTube clips. tongue

I read in an interview with Joe in the magazine Bluesnews, where he comment that he enjoyed his stay at Notodden Blues Festival last year, and that he would like to play there again. I certainly hope that can be a reality next year.  cool
