Topic: Gilmour to play on Waters' Wall tour.

I now have had this confirmed as a 'strong' rumour from 2 sources.

The first came from Pete Cornish, who is building a 4 loop switching system for David's small "All Tube' touring board; the looper is for a DynaComp, Ram's Head Muff, Electric Mistress and Colorsound powerboost (the 4 pedals used on the Wall!)

When I then asked someone else close to DG and Phil Taylor, he said he'd heard exactly the same and that David will join Roger for the London shows.

If this is the case I'll mortgage my soul to go. I'll have even have my dog's legs amputated, sell them and call her "Skater' if I have to!!

I'll post pics of the Cornish unit mentioned above shortly.

..... and I'll be right behind you in the queue!  I wouldn't necessarily bust a gut to go and see Roger on his own but if DG happened to be in the mix that's another story   wink

Sounds extreme.  You could just ampute the back two and call her "scooter."   yikes

Just published today...  sad

(For some reason I'm unable to post a direct link, but on that page you'll see an article on the right side to click on.)

And by the way, no London shows have even been confirmed as of yet.

Re: Gilmour to play on Waters' Wall tour.

This isn't about the Gilmour rumor (which apparently was false), but I thought you all would be interested in this.  Roger Waters made a rare TV appearance last night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon... Jimmy seems a bit nervous, but overall it was an interesting interview, and it confirms a couple old stories I've heard over the years too.  Here's the interview for those who missed it... it's less than 6 1/2 minutes long, but broken down into 2 videos...

Also, Rolling Stone published another article today about the Fallon interview... it quotes Roger on some stuff that was a little hard to hear in the videos...

(Yay, I figured out a way to post a direct link... had to get a different link via a google search.)

And while I'm at it, yesterday's Rolling Stone article about Gilmour having no interest is no longer available at the link I originally posted, so here's the direct link for that one too...

The original poster (jakey) might want to edit his thread title a little, or at least add a question mark.  (HA, I wonder if there are any JamBasers here... "You should've used a question mark!" is a big inside joke on their forums, lol...  tongue )
