I decided at the last minute to get tickets to see Joe at the Count Basie and it was well worth it.  I'm definitely a fan now.

I've been a huge music fan and guitarist forever but never a fan of the blues in general but good music is good music no matter what genre you put it in.  Now in my 40's I have found myself listening to the older guitarists again.  Joe has it all, talent and showmanship and makes the blues not so dreary. This year I have set out to see as many as the great guitarists as I can, Dimeola earlier this year and Joe this past week. Later this year will be Beck and Tommy Emmanuel.

welcome to the forum rmp, the slightly eclectic family of Joe. ah, Al D, from the original supadupagroupa RTF. stick around and give us an update on those concerts. I assume it is Jeff Beck and not "Beck", am also hoping to catch him somewhere in the states but does not look postive at this point. yeah, and Robben is well worth a listen.
