Topic: New recruit

After checking into my hotel in Milan , i'd thought i'll go for a walk around Milan and find club where joe was playing "Transvilvania"
Stopping off at a cafe to have a parma ham & mozzarella Panini/cappucino i asked the waiter where directions for club were , nice guy gave me a map with a marked pen route , so i said my ciao's and strolled the penned route , i looked at map a took a slight short cut detour through a tenament block area , crossing a road i saw a (Polizia) policeman , i stroll up to the guy and said in strange italian " you speaka english" he says "a little"i say transilvania club , He points down the road on the right , i say Grazzi .. thank you , Just as i'm about to walk away he asks , music tonight
i say yes , he says what is it , i say Blues , him say good ,  i say Numero uno ,,, he say good i come tonight ,  i smile and walk ,, ciao grazzi

Later after an absolute Blistering set , "my throat is dry and my knees are weak" i go to the bar to get a drink ,, whose there...... the police guy with some friends chatting  & smiling , looks like he had a great night , he turns and spots me comes over smiles and shakes my hand , i could hardly make out what he saying over music but it had mostly bonamassa and belissimo in it , i gets my drink & i hear him turn to his friends to tell his side of the story , with the the words english and transilvania/bonamassa i leave i put my hand up to wave goodbye he puts his fingers to his lips and does thats kiss thing "BONAMASSA"      wink

Re: New recruit

Ditto on the great story thing sounds something out of a book or movie. That might be one of the most awesome street team manuvers ever.
