Its great that you are writing and recording your own stuff so full credit for that. It isn't my choice of music personally, but it is a style of music genre that gets a lot of airplay on European stations so there is a market for it for sure.

I understand the problems of getting an honest sound from your own recording set up and we don't do it anymore other than for occasional rehearsal playbacks.

From a sound point of view I find the vocals get lost a little when the band kicks in. The rythmn section overpowers the vocal delivery, certainly on a track like 'Today'. On the quieter passages in the other songs the vocals just about get through. Something to work on though as with your style of music the vocal element is an important part I would say.

As a vocalist I know all too well the difficulties of getting over the band sound live, but in the studio I expect to be upfront in the mix. The only other point for me would be to lose the stick count-in from the final recording, but thats just a personal thing.

Its all good experience though, doing your own thing. Keep it up and most important - have fun
