A few weeks ago I visited the best amplifierbuilder in the world (according to Joe) Peter van Weelden in his workshop in Apeldoorn Holland.
A truly great experience for me. I knew him already for a while but man ..how good and professional he is (plus a great guy as well) in his work. As a non guitarplayer, but a more than 40 years guitarmusic lover a world opened for me. Now I know how much work, innovation and dedication there is before that ultimate guitartone Joe has is there!

Thanks for this interesting interview, Andre. Cathy really wanted to read it but was 'disappointed' to discover that it was in Dutch.  big_smile  So, I've printed it out and will translate it for her on the plane - something to keep me busy for a bit when I can't sleep (which will be most of the journey).  wink

Thanks for posting your interview Andre ... I tried my best to understand it in dutch. 

Peter is the best of the best ... plus: he can play guitar faster than Joe.  lol

Yeah Peter Van Halen  lol Is an integral part of Joe's sound and sure knows how to pack a punch into an amp, adding to Joe's sound which has had input from all corners of the globe
Peter's a fun loving Rock/Blues guy too with a wicked dry sense of humour like Joe and like the rest of the band/crew is well approachable with time for a chat and knowledgable about Music.

Thanks for the article. Cathy will need the translation because my auto translate software left me wondering on much of the article.  mad Mr Google has a hard time with Dutch. Close, but as they say, no cigar.
