Topic: Hi Newbie Here Message for Joe !!

Hello Everyone, And Joe !

My names Joe, I am new to the Forums, But Certainly not New to Joe or His Music ! I started out listening, when he had his 1st Album hit, and No one knew he was ! I knew he was gonna be a star, what a Talent ! Joe I saw your Show This past Saturday in Fayetteville, I hope you got the gift I left with your stage person for you, with Elvis on the Cover, of the Tin Case ? I would really like to know, you got it !! I wish I could've given it to you Personally, What a GREAT SHOW YOU PUT ON !! 1 of the Best Shows I've ever seen, And as a Musician who has Toured w Bands Like Ratt, The Crue, Y & T, Scorpions , Van Halen and Many Others, That says a lot, Cause I've seen a lot ! I've played Guitar now for 35 Years, or so, and You Were in a word, PHENOMENAL !! Thanks for that ! Tickets said 8pm Sharp and No Kidding You hit that stage at 8, and Played over 2 Hours before the Encore, and Over 2and a half hours Total ! The Passion you Deliver on Sloe Gin, is as Powerful and Passionate as any solo I've ever heard ! It doesn't take a Barrage of notes to deliver, It Takes just what you put in that solo, that Ingredient That's God Given !! You don't learn or Teach that, it comes from within !! I was Privleged  to be at that show, and If you come even close to this area, Hot Springs is where I'm at, a 4 + Hour Drive to the Show, But WELL WORTH IT !! I will see you again, if you even come close, I Promise you that, even if I have to Drive 8-10 Hours ! Thanks again, and I hope you respond to me, that you received the Gift, It wasn't much, but a Collectible I wanted you to have ! Take care everyone, and Joe, and Chat soon !

    Peace, ShredFed ! Joe

P.S. if anyone knows a part of this forum that joe does visit and might get my msg, I would appreciate that info !!

Re: Hi Newbie Here Message for Joe !!

I hope People weren't thinking I wasn't interested in getting to know others here, Sorry ! If I came off that way !

I am a Guitar Junky and I love Amps of all sorts, depends on the Type and style of Music I'm playing, But I really like Soldano ! I love Old Late 70's Marshalls and The Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifiers are Cool As well !

Like My Amps Guitars are Chosen by Type and stylke of music as well ! From Hard Rock to Metal to Traditional Old School Blues to Hard Rockin Blues, each guitar And Pickups have a Voice, and It's best suited for certain types, just depends on a Taste and feel ! But I havn't met to many guitars, I didn't like ! Amps are a Differant story, Kinda like Drummers and Bandmates, Tend to have Disagreements ! LoL  big_smile But you move on, and wait til the next go round !

Anyhow I hope to meet up with others here, and I hope to hear back from Joe as well !

  Take care everyone, Peace !

Hi ShredFed. I can't speak for Joe, but welcome to the forum. It sounds like you are a man who knows his entertainers and gear. I do know that Joe does read the forum and even posts from time to time. Your question may best be addressed to his management, via the link on his main site. Glad to have you aboard, post often and it sounds like you have something for the folks on the gear section as well.

Re: Hi Newbie Here Message for Joe !!

Hello Rick,

Thanks for the Info ! I hope I can help some New as well as Veteran Guitar players in any well Possible, Be it By, Suggesting Amps, Guitars, Effects, Pedals Etc ....

I've had many Trial and Error with All 3 ! But get to a point where you finally hear .... Hey that may work with my Heavy Rock Band, and Thats perfect to use on a clean channel, with a Ballad, or Power Ballad intro ! Sometimes Getting used to a new guitar, is just like getting used to a new Amp, how to Adapt and Adjust, Rather than Fight with it, find it a home in a differant part of Your MUSICAL WORLD !!

I have effects Rack Systems that I get less out of, than I do with a couple pedals, and some Creativity ! Learning to Adapt is the Hardest Part of Dealing with any Gear Guitar Amps, and or Pedals, and when you get that down ..... Let me know, cause I still get Frustrated and throw things and get Impatient ! So whether your new at this or Long Time Player, We all fight with sound, and Don't let it get you down, just keep Pluckin, and Picking, and Refuse to Lose !

   Peace everyone, Joe
