Another Greenhorn

Discovered Joe about a year ago and couldn't believe I had never heard his music before? After listening to a couple 30 second spots, I immediately downloaded his entire catalog from itunes. I was so stoked that somebody was playing in the same vein as my guitar heroes Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Michael Bloomfield, Peter Green, Jeff Beck, SRV etc.. First show was in Flagstaff, AZ maybe 250 people tops and Joe blew the roof off. I was standing about 10 feet away and was just floored! I remember looking around at the crowd with their jaws on the floor. I've been lucky enough to see some of the best players of all time and I gotta say Joe is carrying the tradition on very well. Very rare to have technical brillance, unbelievabe tone and sheer emotion, all in one package. If you look close enough at the RAH DVD you can see Eric pass the torch to Joe! I love turning people on to Joe and watching their reaction. Sorry to ramble on... looking forward to your posts..Cheers!
