Forum Members Playing JB

It's about a year since my band started playing mostly Bonamassa. There are two forum members in the band - crossroads and simon1819. (Bass and Keys) We are a pub band playing in Wiltshire UK.We are always careful to give JB full credit at our gigs and on our website, I know we've found him plenty of  fans. At the Cardiff gig last year there were around twenty in the audience that I spotted who came to Joe via our band.

It's been a steep learning curve, finding tracks to please people who have little knowledge of blues influenced rock and die-hard Bona fans who sing all the words as you play.

We do not attempt to copy, note for note, Joe's performances - how could we ? Instead we use his versions of songs - add a verse here, a keyboard solo there, bass pedals at the end of Mountain Time etc. The Bona fans certainly find the music close enough that they know which album version we are using for reference.

We are getting good press reviews now and lots of work, if you live in striking distance of Wiltshire, it would be great to see forum members at the gigs. Good beer and free live Bonamassa music, nice.
