Im going to see the three of them April 10 at Callahans music hall in Auburn Hills MI....My Uncle is a big Tommy Castro fan and is coming up from Ohio.........anybody seen any of these artists before  just wondering what to expect.......

I know the venue will be great as i have seen Joanne Shaw Taylor, Walter Trout, and the Broken Arrow Blues Band there..

Re: Tommy Castro, Debbie Davies, and Joe Louis Walker

Bring your best pair of dancin' shoes for Tommy Castro, this guys got MOJO that makes you boogie. Hope you're not in a sit down venue cuz it'll drive you nuts!!! Enjoy & get it on!!!! I've known Joe since the early 80's and he brings it on guitar, a true bluesman. Got nothin' on Debbie Davies, but the other two will knock you out. My girlfriend & I just saw Tommy a week ago Sat. and we're goin' to see him again Sun. @ the Napa Valley Mustard Festival, cannot get enough of this dude.

Actually that sounds like just the kind of venue you want to see Tommy in. I've seen Tommy in theaters and people got up and danced in the aisles. I hope you're not one of those who grabs a chair and sits down all evening hoping nobody gets in your line of vision, ain't gonna happen. When it comes to Tommy fans you can't stop them, you can only hope to contain them. Have fun!

I will have to second that Dawg. If Tommy doesn't get your bones moving, you're paralyzed. As soon as he gets warmed up, there will be dancing!

Re: Tommy Castro, Debbie Davies, and Joe Louis Walker

Too bad you're headed south after Fri. night since the annual Napa Valley Mustard Festival runs Sat. & Sun. with Tommy Headlining from 3-5 on Sun. We'll shake it one time for you Rick.

Re: Tommy Castro, Debbie Davies, and Joe Louis Walker

I'll third the Tommy comments. Debbie Davies was my favorite female guitar player until JST came along, but she's my number 2. (Bonnie Raitt still rules on the slide though). She will impress you, I promise. JLW is also very good, but I haven't seen him yet. I think he's up for a Blues Award this year. Sounds like  SUPER SHOW! Don't forget to come back and tell us all about it.

Re: Tommy Castro, Debbie Davies, and Joe Louis Walker

I will definately come back and report........im excited........although I will miss UFC 112 that night,,,but Ill catch the replay of that...LOL

Its a great venue and my Uncle, Aunt and cousin from Ohio are coming up to go to the show.....After seeing Joanne Shaw Taylor at the same place,,,,Debbie definately has her work cut out for her!!!  I know it will be a great time.........thanks for the info from everyone!

Re: Tommy Castro, Debbie Davies, and Joe Louis Walker

Show was great....Tommy played a half hour set...a little shorter cause his amp went out.......then Debbie played about a half hour set followed by Joe Louis Walker............each had great moments...........Walker has a great jam called if theres a heaven (or something like that)  nice!!!

Then they all came out and jammed for about 45 minutes at the end.........

only complaint is i wish they couldda sprinkled in a little more slow blues, but over great show!
