Re: Rolling Stone
Who reads the Rolling Stone?!
Eva
Ahh, mi estudiante favorita, I started reading Rolling Stone back when it was still based in San Francisco and was printed on newspaper folded in half and cost about $.25 (circa '66/'67). Believe it or not it was originally pretty much devoted to music & musicians. Then Jann Wenner moved it to NYC and they became ever more political and a slave to fashion advertising. Annie Liebovitz's cover shots are legendary as decreed by Dr. Hooks Medicine Show anthem, "Oh the thrill it'll gitcha when you git yer pictcha on the cover of the Rolling Stone". Another milestone we'd like to see Joe achieve. There's no need to subscribe to it ever since I wrote an e-mail to the editors about Joe I get it online every week.
