I 'd like to know your opinion about the transparence of BOSS ME 50. Does it give you the exact sound of amp and guiçtar

or is it transformed , less bass , more high end , anyway did you see any change in your sound?

I can tell a slight tonal difference with mine, but I can't put my finger on it. I personally love it big_smile Also, I thought Boss discontinued the ME-50 and went on to something like ME50-B. They still making the original?

I think they make the ME 70 now and a ME 20.  I had the ME 50 and sold all of my pedals hoping to have the best of everything.  It does great every effect sounds good, trouble is what if you find a overdrive tone you like and then need a boost?  You could make a preset but then you have like a second slag time before it switchs so you got to time it out perfect.  Next what if you want 2 effects to run at the same time?  You can't.  Your getting a lot of stuff for the money but its not very stage friendly to me.  I wanted to have tons of sounds but not at the expense of getting multiple sounds going at once.  I loved the pedal for just a drive, modulation, delay, and a wah that doubles as a volume pedal but I learned that Less is more sometimes with that kind of stuff and at the same time less bits you in the butt too.

I think I can tell a slight difference, but it's nothing that sounds horrid alan. (Also AD3Three, that's my main problem with the ME50 as well.)

what's your problem with AD3 from boss I suppose! could you develop?
