Topic: Greetings from Pennsylvania

Hi everyone!  My name is Chris and I'm from Pennsylvania.  I've been a Joe Bonamassa fan for a little more than a year, and all I can say is "I've got the fever."  I also have two of his DVDs and every CD he's ever released, LOL.

It's funny, but if someone told me at this point in my life I'd be signing up for a steet team and becoming a "#1 fan," I would have thought it impossible, but Joe just brings that out in me. 

I truly do think he's the most amazing guitarist around (but then, why am I telling you this??).  Anyway, I'm here to read some threads, learn a little bit, and hopefully get some good ideas for promoting Joe's shows as a street team member.  Just wanted to say "hi" and, of course, thanks to Joe for giving me a passion for music I haven't felt since I was a teenager (you know, back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth).

I'm originally from the DC metro area but moved to PA a long time ago.  Jeesh... I'm making myself sound ancient, but actually I'm very vital for 40-something-year-old.  I swear.  big_smile

To answer your question, yes, I'm going to see Joe in April in Harrisburg.  I was trying to line up lots of friends to go, but his show was nearly sold out shortly after Christmas.  Last time I looked, there was only one seat left.  So...Who wants it??

You're a baby dino, I have just a few on ya'. wink  You must live further north to go to Harrisburg, I'm seeing Joe in Glenside, Pa.   There are still seats available in Glenside, its a cool old renovated movie theater that takes an intermission during the concert so they can make money on refreshments and let the band sell stuff. (be stocked up Joe)

Welcome to the forum, Chris. I think it's great....it doesn't matter how many years over forty you are. There are loads of us here and we all feel like teenagers! Joe's music keeps you young.
