Prince - Whole Lotta Love

Nice! Thanks for sharing, but I still prefer Led Zeppelin's version. There's something I don't like in Prince's vocals.

this is a great video.  The DVD this comes from "Price: Live At The Alladin in Las Vegas" is one of the best music DVDs I've ever seen.  Prince has an amazing band that plays some of the funkiest music I've ever heard, plus there is a bunch of great guitar solos.

Thanks for posting that Pattie, Kate, Alex and I saw Prince at the O2 in London, It is right up there in our top concerts. Incredible performer. It was a lovely day as we road the Thames boast to get to the venue, past all the sites. It is the only concert where I have seen the whole crowd up dancing for the whole show. As you say he made sure it was one big party. Great performer, stunning lyricist and Whole Lotta Love was real treat. I did tape during the show but the sound did not come out.

Yep Martin, the concert my sister & I went to...same phenomenon...from the very young & in between to the elderly....EVERYONE was up shakin' their booty   The crosswalk stage was so perfect and the lucky ones that got to get up there and dance thruout the concert.....way cool....up there as one of my top concert memories, too...so Captain Shreddy if the opportunity arises...do it! And Angela, too funny, I had just watched the While My Guitar Gently Weeps before I read your post    Uncanny resemblance between George Harrison's son & George (my favorite Beatle)  I don't love everything that Prince has done, but I do consider him a musical genius. I saw he did a cover in '09 of Crimson & Clover....love that song...his look has changed again....one thing you can say about Prince is, is he does his own thing and walks on the wild side of funk-a-delic.
