Hi from Canada,

        I'll just start by saying I can't believe I hadn't thought of joining this message board earlier, I've been a rabid fan of Joe's for a couple years now, Joe has been a freaking revelation, I've always been a fan of blues rock, and all the classics, and I've never felt like an artist has been more in unison with my own personal taste and my aspirations as a guitarist.   When I first heard Joe, I heard exactly what I have always wished I could play, and since then I've been working very hard to learn from your approach to the guitar, with not much success, but I do find constant motivation in hearing your music.



so I just wanted to say hello, as I'm planning on using this great little forum to satisfy all my little questions about Joe and his music, and maybe pick up a few licks if anyone is willing to share

Welcome aboard! As a guitar player you may want to contribute on the "gear" page. There are some good threads going on there and Joe himself offers tips from time to time.

I live in northern British Columbia, unfortunately that means I've never had the chance to experience a live show of Joes, closest he got last year was Vancouver, and that is a 12 hour drive from here, tongue
it also means I have to drive 2 hours just to go to the nearest guitar shop,  lol

This is definitely the right place to come to discover everything you need to know in Joeworld.

It must be very frustrating living in a place so far out but I'm sure it's very beautiful.
