Hey guys, I signed up here awhile ago and did an intro. but have not been on in a long time. I think I'm going to start hanging around more. here is just a quick little intro


My name is Brett (feel free to call me that) I'm almost 18. I've been playing for about 4 years. I'm Les Paul's and marshalls all the way kind of guy tongue.

I really love Joe's sound and he has some of the best and freshest playing in years. In my opinion he is probably the best blues/rock guitar player in 30 years. He has had a huge influence on my playing and phrasing. I would really really love to see him at a concert some day. I would REALLY love to meet him. from reading posts and some of my older posts he is one of the nicest guys I have ever seen. super helpful. Someday maybe. and on a side note. Joe. please give me your rig..... or just the silver jube. lol

as for some of my favorite artists. I'm a big blues fan. Joe B is my favorite at the moment. I also love Eric Clapton, BB King, David Gilmour, Eric Johnson (also a big influence) and Santana. I"m also a HUGE fan of 70s rock. Boston, Styx, and old REO to name a few (only OLD REO after 81 they were worthless. especially without Richrath imo)


but yeah. long ramble sorry.

Your influences go back a long way for someone so young. But you have good taste smile

How did you hear about Joe? I'm glad he is inspiring you and I'd like to hear some of your stuff one day.

I'm in Minnesota. Yeah. I've never been able to get into any of the "newer" stuff. very boring and un-imagitive.

I actually found out about Joe through just looking around. I saw his performance of "Sloe Gin" at the North Sea Jazz Festival in 07' I was blown away. been a fan ever since.


Yeah. I'll get some of my stuff up one of these days. Thanks for the warm welcome~!
