Topic: Epiphone Les Paul Tribute

This looks like a winner - appears to be the same as a Gibson LP Trad Pro only from Epi. Lots of goodies for the insane price point: Solid mahogany body and neck, real maple cap, Gibson '57 classic pups, coil splitters, locking Grover machine heads, choice of '60s or asymetrical neck profile and a hard case thrown in. (all for less than half of what a Trad Pro goes for)

Re: Epiphone Les Paul Tribute

Not bad at all Tom, looks like you get a lot for the money! Just picked up my Epi Les Paul from the guitar shop; the one my son thought he'd perform a little "Pete Townshend" on the neck and headstock. They did a fine job and you can't even tell where the break was.

But this has got me thinking.....Hmmm.....he's always wanted a Les Paul, so I could give him my old one for Christmas and buy this new one for myself. smile Now all I've got to do is sell that idea to the warden. roll

Re: Epiphone Les Paul Tribute

it would have been nice if these epi's had been made at the fujigen plant like the epi elite/elitists.  those epi's were pretty much gibson's with all the gibson parts that were used & the choice woods.  i hope these epi's keep up with the quality that the elite/elitists had.  those epi's are awesome cool
