Topic: Thin Lizzy Live and Dangerous DVD

Anyone have it?
And if they do how is it?

Re: Thin Lizzy Live and Dangerous DVD

If you mean the one recorded at rainbow 1978, I have a copy.
This  one is printed in Australia and taken from the Japannese lazer disc.
It's made by fans for fans!
Great DVD.

Re: Thin Lizzy Live and Dangerous DVD

I had a few different bootleg versions over the years.  The official release beats them all.  In fact, they suckered me twice with the original release in 2006 and then the Expanded Edition in 2008.  Primary improvement is the sound.

The 2008 Expanded Edition may only be available in the European PAL format, but almost every decent DVD player these days can play both NTSC and PAL.  With it you get quite a bit of extra stuff including:
-1983 Sight & Sound concert @ Regal Theater (John Sykes on guitar!)
- Top Of The Pops performances
- various interviews
+ bonus CD of 1975 Derby College show

Gibson 60th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Reissue, Gibson LP Standard Faded CSB, Gibson Gary Moore LP Standard, Epi Joe Bonamassa GT LP, Epi Zakk Wylde LP, Dean Michael Schenker Flying V, Jackson Randy Rhoads V, ESP/LTD George Lynch Kamikaze, EVH Striped Series R/B/W, Fender/Squire John 5 Telecaster, Fender Joe Strummer Relic Telecaster

Re: Thin Lizzy Live and Dangerous DVD

My finest moment so far playing my guitar in front of people HAS to be the one and only time I've played Black Rose...

I was lucky enough to find myself in a band with good enough musicians to pull it off.. we worked on it for months, played it once and promptly all went our separate ways the following week. I was gutted...
