Topic: hello, Newbie From LA

hello guys and gals, My name Is Rami, i've been a fan of Joe for a bit over 2 years now, and i have all his CD's DVD's released to date, i have been lurking these forums for some time, but i finally decided to join and post.

either way, im a guitar player, been playin for 9 years, and i had finally had a change to go see JB live in the Coach house in and in house of blues in hollywood. and man, joe is a great live performer, you know how you sometimes find someone you like their music and you go see them live and its like ok, but man Joe was awesome, i think its one of the best concerts that i have been to in my life (not that im that old, im only 25) but yea great shows.

Welcome to Joe's world Ramilp. It's no surprise that you have been blown away by Joe's live performance. That's the cement that bonds us lot together on here. No matter where we're from, the live shows are the one thing that convert listeners into fans. As long as Joe puts his heart and soul into his shows he will always have a loyal band of followers. Hi Rami and welcome to the forum. I'm a noobie too, and yet to see my first Joe show live. That's going to change in just over 2 weeks tho, and I know for a fact that it definitely will not be the last show I go to lol

thank you guys for the warm welcome, i do tend to enjoy smaller forums than over crowded forums with over 30-40k members, you tend to get along better with people and make new friends this way.

Rami, there is a post on the main board for those who live in SoCal to plead for Joe to play at the Doheney Blues Festival. It is held at the beach in San Clemente, about an hour South of L.A. and an hour North of San Diego. Joe has played there at least twice I know of, but never headlined a day. It is about time for that. If you like the Blues, it is a don't miss event. Just do a search for Omega Events. Rick

Tripod - im originally born in the Jordan the country,  moved to USA in late 1998 when i was 14.

RickB - i have been looking on the forum about the thread you mention and i cant seem to find it, unless im not reading hard enough, is it possible that you can post a link for me.

also i actually live on the Boarder of LA and OC, if i walk across the street im in OC, if i was back home in in LA haha, but yea the last show that Joe had at the coach house was like 49miles away from my house, and san clemente like a few miles from san juan capistrano. but yea i can add my vote for Joe to play again in that area, id love to go to another show soon. i kind of liked it more than driving to hollywood at the HOB, traffic going in the middle of LA and hollywood is just bad anytime of the day.
