Topic: Greetings from new Irish member

Hi guys,

I am just after signing up to this forum,i am from a small place in the south of Ireland called Cork(the great Rory Gallaghers place of birth).
I got tickets to see joe a few days ago and am so excited to see him when he play in my town on dec 9th when he plays his irish tour dates.

I am a huge fan of musicman guitars myself and play them also like joe has been recently, ive also just bought a "25th anniversary" musicman which is a limited edition guitar realeased this year to celebrate EBMM,s 25th anniversary.
Cant wait to see joe playing his 25th on tour.maybe he would sign mine personally if i brought it to the gig???????:D

Cheers

Colin.Ireland:)

Welcome Colin. Yeah, the late Rory Gallagher - how I miss his live shows. One of these days I will visit his grave in Cork instead of going to Dublin.

You will be in for a special treat I think. Joe mentioned about 6 months back that he had acquired a Rory Gallagher signature Stratocaster and hinted that he may break it out in Cork. It's very possible that he may do a short set of Rory covers. PLEASE shoot some video to share if you have the equipment and the venue allows it. Joe is very video "friendly" as long as you don't bring in professional recording gear. Video from digital cameras and personal video recorders is OK.

Welcome aboard!
