Topic: First Exposure to Joe

I first saw Joe perform at Kettering, Ohio. He was the warm-up for Peter Frampton back in 2001. I was front row, dead center, and have been following Joe since then. At that time, he came out into the crowd after the concert, signing his CDs for all....of course I bought one then, as well as the next concert I saw him at. The last time I saw him in Columbus, Ohio, he had to chase off a rude/obnoxious 'staff guard' that was not allowing anyone to stand up or cheer for Joe. That's the most impressive gesture I've ever seen in a performer...to tell the guy to F-off! and let his fans enjoy him. Way to go Joe....I'll see you again, your next time in Ohio!! Forever a fan!:cool:

I first saw Joe back in 2003 when he opened for Frampton! How funny. wink

We've seen Joe in  Kettering a couple times too, hope he comes back next summer.   I think the Fraze is a great venue for Joe and he's had a good turnout there.  We were also at the Columbus show earlier this year.  Here's the thread where Joe explains his run-in with the famous "big mag-lite guy"
