Yup, the Bills took it to the Pats for 55 minutes and then imploded. Fifteen more losses until they get to pick #1.

The Pats better get their **** together; they ain't going nowhere the way they played last night. It took a sophomore cornerback to pull a rookie stunt to give them a win by default.

That's all I have to say!

Tough way to lose, but they did it to themselves. The Raiders on the other hand got "jobbed" by the officials once again. What does it take to score a touchdown in the instant replay league??????

Well, last week sure saw a bunch of upsets and some big ones (Tennessee, New England, Green Bay) at that.
Great to see the Bears knock off the defending champs and keep up with their division.
I see another exciting weekend coming up!

Guess I'll jump in now.....my San Fran 49ers are a huge surprise so far, but I'm not sold until they hit a playoff spot, so we'll see.....there are some awfull teams in the league....Tampa Bay, Detroit, Cleveland, and Oakland Raiders who are getting the snot beat out of them in New York, I hope the Giants score 70 plus....there are more but who cares.....Dallas will regroup, and Denver will come back down to earth.....Minnesota is caught up in Farveamania, but thir defense is strong enough to carry them alone....San Diego needs to slap someone around soon.....if I left off your team or insulted them oh well.....you know what they say, opinions are like *******, and we all have one so what ever.....I've still got baseball fever so, I'm changing the channel at 1pm, the Yanks are going to close out the twinkies today

Shred,
I just knew the niners would be decent this year...Mike Singletary has never done anything halfway and won't accept half efforts from his team.

We won't fret this exceedingly,Shred. It's only a streak of 1 loss, and early on, and out of division....but dammit the defense is unwholly un-holey  yikes and the points don't grow on trees... mad mad

Re: The NFL - National Football League

I went to see the Steelers vs Lions last week. Steelers won 28-20... just barely
Then (since I'm a Packer fan) saw Packers vs. Lions and the Packers won 26-0! That's whats funny about the NFL... any given sunday it can be close, or it can be a blow-out. The Lions - are a decent team. They really stuck it to the Steelers with what they had. By the time they go to the packers they were pretty banged up.

Now i'd love to say it's because the Pack are awesome, but it was in GB. And they should have cleaned up a lot of mistakes they were still making. Clay Matthews is going to be  FORCE and Donald Driver make a franchise breaking reception. Lots of goods, lots of bads.

Any team that can win 59-0 doesn't need any extra help! lol

My housemate, who is NFL-crazy, has gone to London for this game. He's actually a Jets fan, but the boy was just desperate to see a live game.

Since my Redskins have gone from bad to worse with each game this season, I've shamelessly switched my support to my other 'local' team, the Ravens. tongue

"Making" Peyton Manning drive 80 yards to beat you is like tossing Brer Rabbit into the briar patch because he's begging you not to as he's stuck in a tar baby sitsheation...

-I see genius why he went with he call but one has to analyze it with a WINNING FOOTBALL coach mind.  Bill Walsh might've been watching and said to Lombardi "this isn't going to turn out the way he expects"...But Bill might've made the call to go for it himself.  To call him arrogant? Evil ? Funny, but PLEASE! My kind of football.

Yeah, you've got to give him credit. He consistently schools the rest on how to win. Wish we had him in SD. The evil comment was fascetious.
