Topic: Hello from Southern Indiana

Hello from Southern Indiana.  I have become a huge Joe Bonamassa fan over the past year. In my humble opinion he absolutely has it all as a guitarist. Tone, technique, feel, melody.......... The list goes on and on. But most of all to me, he is extremely "musical" and plays with a ton of emotion.  I had the pleasure of seeing him twice this year, once in Louisville, KY and later in Evansville, IN.  Both shows were outstanding.  I look forward to conversing with all of the other fans on this forum.  I have gained a lot of useful info on the Guitars and Amps section and hope I can contribute also.

Yes.  I have been at this awhile and I love to play.  But when Joe is playing I would rather stop and listen.  I've heard a lot of guitarists, but few have "hit me in the gut" the way Joe has.  And as good as his recordings are, to me he is even better live.  He is brilliant.
