Topic: King King featuring Alan Nimmo

Hubby and I went to the first Newark Blues festival last weekend and what a great event it was. The weather was gorgeous and the venue was in the castle grounds.
The Oli Brown Band was on....and I don't need to tell you what a big fan I am wink and headlining the night was King King.
It was the first time I had seen them apart from on Youtube and I thought they were fantastic.
Alan Nimmo has a great voice and plays brilliantly too. Lindsay Coulson plays bass, Craig Blundell on drums and Bennett Holland on keyboards.

Here's a link to a song called Heart Without A Soul:

Re: King King featuring Alan Nimmo

Thanks for posting these Trispy! I enjoyed watching them.

King King only have an EP out at present, which I have not heard as yet (it features an older lineup with different drummer and keyboard player).  Theyhave been winning over quite a lot of fans, may who state they are better than Alan's other band, the Nimmo Brothers.  Apparently at Maryport they outsold all the other artists' sales! smile
