Hello to all Joe's fans from Sittard in the Netherlands!

Took me a while to get the courage to post a new topic but here I am!
My name's Suzanne (or zanne28 for insiders :) I have a thing for all good (rock)guitarists but Joe has a very special place in my heart.
I often visit the forum and it's very inspiring to read about Joe, his concerts and all things that keep his fans busy.

I´ve been following Joe for some time now, bought the tickets for Carré Amsterdam this spring and had the good fortune so see him 3 times live since then! Joe has spoiled us terribly this summer!!!

Saw him at Moulin Blues (Nederweert), Peer (Belgium) and Cologne (Germany). I was blown away when first seeing him live, like you all I guess. Specially seeing him go loose trying out at Moulin Blues with two drummers and horn  section for RAH was a blast. Peer was, well, perfect. And Cologne was a great show. Despite all problems there Joe put on an amazing show to show his fans he was there for THEM. AND was so kind to speak to us afterwards and give an autograph. He signed on my shoulder and I had it tattood the next day. Now Joe is with me for the rest of my life lol. His music is the light in my life and I hope for you all too!!!

Hello Amsterhammer!

Of course you can have a picture, will be made in september. Don't know how to post it in a message or can it be attached, can anyone enlighten me?

I would LOVE to meet you all ´forum-related'  people in Carre!! How does that work? Will everyone have to carry a red rose or maybe Joe's cool?

In fact I would love to meet ALL fans and thank you for your welcoming words.

Welcome to the forum and I'm sure we talked in Cologne when I was getting drinks for Lynelle, Issy , Eva and myself. You were with another woman, both from the south of Holland I remember.
You said you wanted a tattoo from Joe on your shoulder and I thought what??
I told the lovely girls the story and we all didn't understand, we thought that Joe should tattoo you!!!!!!!

But now I understand what you ment. Joe signing and the tattoo later. Suddenly you were off to get to Joe, I think with Manni who helped you to get to Joe, so no further talking.
I go to Carre too, with my wife Corine and our daughter Laura so we will certainly meet again, we are like George said with 30 bonnabuddies.
Will be a great night, another one to cherish!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, we met! I remember now. It's indeed a small world but fortunately with Joe around it's getting bigger and bigger...
I dragged a friend along because i want everyone to get to know the man who with his music has made a difference in so many lives. Well, needlessly to say, she's a believer too now.
I'm sorry we couldn't stay at your table and properly be introduced to the other ladies after gettin drinks but i'm sure they understand, Joe was calling and then there's no time for chatting.... I really hope to meet and talk to them soon.
Thank you for your kindness then and I hope we'll meet in Amsterdam. I'll be with my husband who's coming to hear Joe live for the very first time!!! He endures all my frolics, crazieness and moods where Joe is concerned.... A truly amazing man and I hope a fan for life too.

Hi Geert, sure you can have one! Still working on the tat though, adding a littl more colour to the flowers and white shades to the autograph. After it's healed i'll send everyone a pic as promised smile Hope to show it to Joe first in November...

Btw Great site, i visited it yesterday. Where do you get all that info? Amazing.

How great to see that YOU are here! Now the mystery is finally solved ... a very confused Andre came up to us in Cologne, telling us that a lovely woman wants Joe to tattoo her shoulder, lol! lol
Issy and I looked out for you afterwards when Manni had gone with you, but we didn´t see you then. If you bought a shirt you might have seen me though - I worked at the merch table. smile

I really look forward to meeting you in Amsterdam too! I wasn't suggesting wearing a red Nose though, but a red Rose! Dark shades are maybe a little overdone in winter. And I DO plan on wearing warm winterclothes (since the tat is on my back...) but I'm sure we'll find eachother. I'll mail you a picture of me so we can reckognise eachother.
I remember you working on the merch table. After meeting Joe we talked a bit with Manny and then went of to the city, didn't want to bother Joe too long since it was a stressful day for him already. Hope very much to get a chance to talk to him in Amsterdam!

This tattoo thing is totally unintended becoming a bit of an issue i believe. Its reallly not so special, it's just that i wanted something more permanent to show my admiration for Joe and his music (and what it has done for me personally) than a cd or an autograph on paper.  It's my first and will definitely remain the only one. Aren't there any similar JB fans you know of? For instance I know an ACDC fan who has the face of Angus Young on his back. Not that I'm planning to do something like that, lol. big_smile
And the thought of Joe having his own show: Blues Ink... ROFL

Gladly mr. Bonamassa is as active as a child with ADHD so there's enough news/gossip the mention weekly
