Re: Govt. Mule anybody???

I guess we should both keep a lookout on the Mule website eh Bluesbreaker?

I've never seen Gov't Mule or Warren Haynes in any of the bands he plays with either. In the last year I've seen Joe, Derek Trucks and Joe Satriani. To see Warren Haynes would complete my quartet of favourite contemporary guitarists.

Keep your eyes peeled smile

You could always come over here to see them - pull an Eva/Guenther and plan a little concert tour.  I actually saw Derek on a Saturday, then Derek and Joe the next weekend, and if I had wanted to could have seen Mule two weeks before Joe/Derek and BDS/Chickenfoot one week after Joe/Derek.  Unfortunately not enough money or time!

I do have tickets to see Mule October 30 - not as good as Halloween, but good enough.  Looking forward to it.  Hope to hear Cortez and/or Thorazine Shuffle - you never know what you're gonna get with these guys.

i was pissed when i saw them this summer i went assuming the opener would go on at the start time, back yard tire fire opened lol, anyway i looked at the setlist online in the morning and they played thorazine shuffle and a missed it.  they did however play soulshine, brighter days, and thirty days in a hole.  show was actually mediocre compared to the first time i saw them.

Aw Sandy, I was jealous enough reading all the reports from Hot August Blues; now you have to go and tell me all this yikes (I wanted a "green with envy" face!).

Tell you what, that's not a bad idea. Hmmmm.
