Topic: Another Belgian guy

Hello everybody,

I think it's time to introduce myself.

I'm a quite young (20yo) guy from Belgium. I discovered Joe a few months ago and I just love his music. I hope to see him live soon.

I've been playing the guitar for about a year and a half, mainly because of another master of blues guitar : Eric Clapton.

Greetings.

Hi Plutux

I can't believe no one has welcomed you here.
We're usually much friendlier that that !!

As I have just told Sloegin, I love Belgium and have had several very nice holidays there.
It's where I discovered Joe - in Antwerp in a small music bar just off the square with the hand throwing statue in it.

I went back on a second visit a couple of years ago to pay homage !!

Anyway, welcome to the forum smile

Re: Another Belgian guy

I'm glad you like Belgium, some people don't even know it's a country! lol

But I've never been to Antwerp. I know I should go there, but it's 120km from home and it is quite a long trip for us! big_smile

Hi Plutux and welcome to Joe's fine forum. I'm sure you're going to fit in very nicely here.

Have fun......Tripsy smile

Re: Another Belgian guy

good evening, - and might as well ask the same question as I did your Belgique friend... What Belgium beer would you recommend? It is the home of some of the finest beers around and almost worth the headache in the mornin'

My YouTube channel with plenty of my Joe's videos dating from 2009 inc his first Hammersmith Odeon ones:

Plutox,

Your country is famous in the UK, Battle Of Waterloo and, more importantly, mayonaisse on chips ! (fries Jeff, fries)
Better still, a plate of mussels with chips/fries - I'm coming back, soon.

Crossroads,

Egad, mayonaisse on chips (fries)? yikes Oh my, the only time I ever heard of that was in the movie "Pulp Fiction". Here in the States its got to be ketchup. wink

And Plutux, a very warm welcome to Joe's forum where as you can see, tastes vary. smile

(Walking away shaking head....."I'll be darned, they really do eat mayonaisse on fries over the Big Pond.......") Just having some fun guys. big_smile

Re: Another Belgian guy

Sorry Ian, I didn't see your request. I would say all of them, of course!

More seriously, there are many great beers : Chimay (especially the blue one), Orval, Leffe, Maredsous are among my favourites.

And for the most skepticals, mayonnaise on chips/fries is really tasty, you should give it a try! (but ketchup is good too) big_smile

PS: It's PlutUx tongue But you can call me Maxime as well!

And, yes, thank you again for your warm welcome! wink
