He's not bad is he ?
Fantastic that your son got a plectrum.
Yes, - discovered Joe not long before the Albert Hall gig, - and a couple of tickets were still available, but the wife had booked us in to do something else as it was my birthday weekend...(so whatever happened to being able to do what you want on your birthday???) Oh yes, I am married! I jest, she put up with the rain on Saturday evening, moaned a bit whilst waiting for the crew to setup but came away happy!
He is very good live, - I have seen a lot of bands, - started 31 years ago when I first saw AC/DC...and I still have the ringing in my ears! My videos proved what you do not always hear at the event, - JB can hold his note better than a lot, - I have read that he has worked on his voice quite a lot and clearly it has paid off. His guitar playing goes without saying, spot on. His ability to engage and entertain the audience from my 1 gig experience was again spot on. He comes across as a perfectionist that really cares about the show that he puts on. The guys around him, again spot on. The only thing that I can see needs work....The dressing gown.... White toweling bath rob put on your shoulder by your guitar tech...um, - my 9 year old daughter laughed at that!
My YouTube channel with plenty of my Joe's videos dating from 2009 inc his first Hammersmith Odeon ones:
