Topic: Buddy Guy, Milwaukee Summerfest June 30th, 2009

Well, after Davy and Back Door Slam tore up the stage in Milwaukee, it was then time for Buddy Guy and his excellent Band to shoot off some fireworks of their own! The following are pictures and videos and I must apologize to you all, because my DVD ran out in the middle of "Skin Deep". However, there is a very touching moment when Buddy brings out one of the original Blues bass men to the stage for some recognition.

Like I said before, what a night of music!

Enjoy,

Roy

P.S. Twice during his show, Buddy bent down to give little Tallan "T-Man" Latz one of his pics. They've met and jammed before.....Oh, and they had a little feature together on the NBC Today show too. wink

Re: Buddy Guy, Milwaukee Summerfest June 30th, 2009

You know, Ive met so many interesting people going to shows; not only the performers themselves, but members of the audience too. As it turned out, at the end of Buddy Guy's show, my sister was talking to a rather tall fellow right in front of me. When my sister turned to me and told him, "that's my brother Roy" this man whose name is Bastiaan said, "you must be a professional photographer." I laughed and told him that I wasn't, I just like to take pictures and share them with people. Because he had a fairly good accent I asked him if he was English. He laughed and said no, that he was actually from Holland of all places and was on vacation. He then in turn gave me his business card and asked me to send him photos of Buddy and his Band. Today, I did just that. smile

Like I said, so many interesting people! cool
