Topic: Berlin

so i try to get some words written down. since i am out of school it's like i have never spoken englisch before ! yikes mad roll sad

well it was a sunny and warm day. a few minutes after i arrived, eva and marlies arrived too.
we hung around for a while and then went to mcdonalds, just 500 meters away.
later back eva and i took some funny photos in the smoking area and in the toilet...
we always have a lots of fun! big_smile

the show was great. sloe gin makes me really almost crying. it's astonishing how a song can touch you.
while the first song i thought of taking on my sunglasses! but that's the destiny of the first row. you have to look up und look more or less directly in the spots....
and you can't imaging how hot they are. i don't know how the band could stand it, it's like you were grilled !
during the last song I moved backwards to see and hear the show from another point.
and i didn't regret it. i saw some people having fun in the last/middle rows. they were smiling and dancing/jumping!

i also recongnized the thing with the sound like eva said in the review of hamburg.
i took my earplugs out too.

after the concert i went to the merchandise table and never thought that german people were that crazy about buying merch. i saw some people buying 3 t-shirt or 2 cds at once and some of the cd's were sold out !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Berlin

Thanks Issy!

Great to see 'Bridge' back, one of my all-time favorites (obviously!) Somehow though, mentioning McDonald's in Berlin doesn't seem quite right. Next time, call it a sausage stand. lol

RIP Iron Man

Rock On and keep the Faith

Re: Berlin

Nice review Issy.
Sloe Gin is very beautiful, emotional and sad, it nearly makes me cry too. So Many Roads is one of my favourites. When I hear those first few notes my heart skips a beat I'm sure.
I'm already looking forward to my next Joe show in December.

Tripsy smile

ps Do we get to see those funny photos or are they too embarrassing! lol

Re: Berlin

I wish I was there too... I think I have to wait until december to see Joe again... hmm tongue
