Topic: The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band!!

Just heard Joe bigging up The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band on his Planet Rock Show!!! Had nooooooooo idea he was a fan... and he saw them at the Little Civic in Wolverhampton, wonder if it was the same gig I went to see them at. Hmmm, if it was, he must have been in disguise.

When did you see them there Joe?

Anyway, you should all check them out... think country blues with a twist... washboards...:D  Some of the lyrics kill me. Thing is all the lyrics are about true goings on/people...people they know or things that have happened to them...

I had the Reverend in a couple of times at a club I booked. They have an infectious groove and everybody loved them. They got a unique thing that is very roots, americana and blues. High enerygy. Really great guys and gal too. Go see them.
