That's what I'll have to do, could not get the digital channel switched from Britains Got Talent (not my choice)

Brilliant idea!  That would be so cool.

So how reliable of a source are you. I had heard he was in the house. He had been invited but had not been confirmed he was coming. He did not attend the after show party. Some one asked me to confirm whether he was there. Since I didn't personally see him I could not attest that he was actually there.

You however saw him. Did we meet at the Cocoon? If we did then I would be able to attest someone I actually know did see him.

    RP was  in the box with his back to the audience when the bands werent playing,when Joe was on i turned round and he was watching closely.Tall,long curly greyish hair he did not have a name badge but im 99% sure it was him along with other people.

Nice show by Joe on Planet Rock this week. He covered some of his blues influences such as BB King, Freddie King, Muddy Waters and Albert King. It's great when Joe's show gives exposure to some of these artists as their music is not as well known in the UK as it should be. Joe played three songs by each artist and his comments were as insightful as ever. He mentioned Chris Cain as an artist who plays in the mould of BB King, which is interesting as Oli Brown has raved about him. Would be cool Joe to hear you play one of Cain's songs sometime, most UK listeners are not too familar with his work. While most of us do love the Cream, Rory Gallagher, Free songs and others on the show, these are regularly played elsewhere on Planet Rock, so it's great to hear the other artists that have inspired Joe too.

I couldn't agree more, Duncan. It certainly was good to hear some real blues on Tuesday evening, especially 3 in a row from each artist.

Lee, if I remember correctly, Joe mentioned the similarity between Chris Cain and BB's voices. Maybe we'll hear some more of Chris's playing on Joe's future Planet Rock shows.
