Topic: Smokin Joe Kubek and Benois King

Caught these guys in Blind Willies this weekend.
Great roadhouse blues
Texas style.
Relaxed music that gets people dancing.
Chris Duarte showed up and Kubek handed Duarte his guitar.
Chris was respectful and laid down tasteful blues lines on the last song which was an instrumental.
People that left are going to kick themselves after I give them this news.

One of the few bands I really like but have yet to see. They were here a couple years ago but I missed them. They don't come this way very often.

I really like Smokin Joe Kubek, got 4 of his cds and a dvd. Very tasteful player. What a bonus to see Chris Duarte too, wish I'd been there! Those chumps who left will really kick themselves tongue
