I'm not sure if that's the one, but I know he's got one of Joe's LP's and I think this might be it.

If it is he took off the pick guard, but check out this video at about :45 seconds.

I want to say I saw black plastic on it, which is common for a JB LP... I'd say it is possible, but not conclusive.
