Topic: Green Day Surprise

I'm sittin' here at the computer and @ 3 o'clock an e-mail alert came in announcing Green Day tix going on sale immediately for one show tonight @ The Independent, a club in San Francisco. Limit 2 tix @ $20.00 each................and I don't have any wiggle room on my credit card to grab a pair, SHEESH!!!!!! This is probably a surprise gig to test out their new CD due for release soon.

A couple of "Local" guys play guitar for them, now. Jeff Matika is the newest member. He used to play for a Christian Heavy Metal band, called "Living Sacrifice". I think Billie Joe is going to focus on singing.

Heard they opened with American Idiot then played the entire new Album and more  and played from 10:00pm to 2:30am. Not a bad deal for $20. Got all the dough I need in the bank today...............just bad timing. They had 4 additional musicians with them on the '05 tour.

I've been SO excited about this, found all those San Fran vids tonight, and loved them. Found ALL the previews I could, and I'm lovin them all. I'm not normally this excited, but I've never been waiting for Green Day before LOL. I first heard of them after American Idiot, so this is a first, and I have to say, the band that saved my life has done it again! I love Green Day, they got me into music altogether. Cant wait for the album XD
